sun rain down on me, A lonely speaker in a conversation Her words were swimming through his ears again There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for. say what you mean, tell me i'm right Being a stylist for a band wasn’t always the most exciting occupation. Audra had always been rather talented when it came to fashion, make-up, and hair. Making the members of Consider the Sea look concert-ready was nearly effortless to her by now. She had already prepared all the outfits that the band would be wearing for the next show. She’d even gone shopping a bit in a nearby outdoor mall, stocking up on make-up and wasting time. The truth was, when Audra wasn’t busying herself with her job on the tour, she was quite bored. The tour had proved to be a lot less exciting than she had expected it to be so far. She hadn’t even gotten drunk at all the past few nights. She was spending most of her time watching movies, texting, and sketching outfits in her moleskin notebook, all of which were not exactly productive activities. Especially since Audra usually filled up an entire sketchbook every month. It was comforting, but it wasn’t exactly exciting.
The redhead now sat on a couch on the Consider the Sea tour bus, flipping through a fashion magazine. After examining a few pages, she set it down next to her with a sigh. She needed some socializing today, that was for sure. It was so unlike Audra to be alone so much. She took out her iPhone, ignoring all the Facebook notifications and tweets that showed up on the screen. Instead, she went to her contacts and clicked on Ariana’s picture. Ariana was the lead in Consider the Sea, and Audra had been doing her hair and makeup for every show. On top of that, Audra and Ariana were also close friends. Audra enjoyed the other girl’s company; and that was saying a lot, considering that Audra didn’t even really like girls.
With quick fingers, Audra quickly sent Ariana a text. It read, ‘Ariana, I’m literally about to die from boredom. If you want me to live, you should probably come to the tour bus asap.’ After a moment of thought, Audra sent another text: ’If you hang out with me, I’ll share my box of Oreos with you.’ A little bribery never hurt anyone, right? Audra set her phone down and picked up the magazine, hoping that Ariana wasn't busy at the moment. Aud could really use some excitement in her day. |

THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) Ariana was bored. The band was all scrambled, her best friend included, and short of texting the entire band, Ariana had no way of knowing where they were. She didn’t really want to go off on her own, which left her sitting on the couch in the hotel room she was staying in, watching the stupid reality television show that was on. She was so bored, that she was barely registering what was happening. Some girl was crying about some boy. Boring. Ariana was leaning back against the couch, and although the couch itself was comfortable, her position wasn’t particularly comfy.
Ariana’s notebook of ideas and songs was sitting on the coffee table in front of her. The redhead glanced at it. She supposed she could try to write, but she wasn’t in the mood, and writing could be a bit of a mission when she wasn’t inspired. It was unusual for Ariana to be alone in the hotel. There was usually someone with her. Her best friend, or one of the other band members. Ariana didn’t respond well to being alone.
So she was rather relieved when she heard the familiar noise of her phone going off. Jewel, her musical icon, was her ringtone. Audra’s picture popped up and Ariana read the text, and couldn’t help but laugh. It seemed that Audra was just as bored as she was. Ariana pocketed her phone and got up, but she was barely out the door before her phone went off again. Oreo’s huh? She laughed, and sent a text back. ‘Well, I can hardly refuse that offer.’
Ariana left out the front door and got into her car, heading towards Consider The Sea’s tour bus. “Hey Aud.” Ariana said, walking through the door of the tour bus. Ariana loved the tour bus. Usually it was abuzz with activity, but not this time. Probably because they weren’t in the middle of anything right now. Regardless, Ariana was happy to see Audra. Unceremoniously, the nineteen year old dropped down onto the couch next to her friend. Audra was the stylist for Consider The Sea, and one of Ariana’s closest friends. “Bored?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] THEY DON'T MEAN ANYTHING OH THOSE MEMORIES ( • A S Y O U S P O K E Y O U R F O R K E D T O N G U E S H O W E D • ) W O R D S • 358 T A G G E D • Audra Landon O U T F I T • Click! sun rain down on me, A lonely speaker in a conversation Her words were swimming through his ears again There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for. say what you mean, tell me i'm right Thankfully, Audra didn't have to wait long for her friend to respond. Audra's phone buzzed only a minute later, and the girl opened the text without putting her magazine down. The corners of her lips pulled up into a small smile upon reading Ariana's response. Aud could always count on Ariana to pull her out of sheer and utter boredom. Audra didn't know what she would do all the time on this tour if Ariana wasn't also along for the ride. Audra was thankful for their friendship, especially since Audra was definitely hard to be friends with from time to time. Ariana put up with her, and Aud really did appreciate that.
Audra was in the middle of taking one of those silly girly quizzes in her magazine when she heard the door of the bus open. She didn't really mind the interruption - she honestly did not care which male celebrity was her soul mate, especially since none of them even knew she existed. She looked up quickly, and she smiled as her icy blue eyes fell onto the sight of her wonderful friend arriving to save her from a dull day. "God, what took you so long to get here?" Audra asked in an annoyed tone, but a grin remained on her face as she spoke. She was joking, of course, since Ariana had arrived surprisingly quickly. Audra was impressed. Audra was fashionably late to mostly everything, which is something that Ariana had definitely learned by now.
Her pale hands set the magazine down onto her lap as Ariana plopped down onto the couch next to her. She readjusted herself to face her friend as she spoke. "Me? Bored? Never," |
she responded sarcastically to Ariana's simple question, "I'm having an absolute blast." She paused to run her fingers through her red hair, which hung loose and wavy today. "I'm so beyond bored, Ari. I went through my outfits for the band's next show - twice. I went shopping for make-up even though I'm fairly certain I already own fifty percent of the world's make-up supply. The most exciting thing that has happened today is my mom sent me a picture of my cat sleeping on top of her laptop." Audra paused again, mostly for dramatic effect. "I don't think I've ever been this bored in my life."She was exaggerating, of course, but if there was one thing Audra hated, it was having nothing to do. She was used to being a typical teenager; partying, spending way too much time with friends, and blowing off the majority of her responsibilities. So far on this tour, she had barely had any fun. She intended to change that, however, as soon as the possibility presented itself.[/div]

TEMPLATE BY KHRISTIAN OF CAUTION 2.0, LYRICS BY PANIC AT THE DISCO

THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) “Yeah, sorry I couldn’t teleport.”
Ariana teased, grinning at her friend. The grin on her face betrayed the annoyance in her voice, and Ariana knew that she’d arrived in record time. It wasn’t a long journey, and Ariana had been just as bored as her friend. Laughing, Ariana rolled her eyes. Audra was late to almost everything; it wasn’t like she could talk. The faux redhead vocalist had to admit that she was more than thrilled to see her friend. The day had been threatening to get seriously dull. She supposed she could have rehearsed, or written a song, but she didn’t want to either of those without the rest of the band, and they were scattered – Probably having more fun than Ariana was. “Wow, that is serious.” The joking tone in her voice was unmistakable, but she really did feel bad for Audra. Ariana hadn’t been quite bored enough to do anything productive. She did feel her stylist’s pain, though. The tour so far had been horrendously boring, and hadn’t really offered them much opportunity to party. Tours were sometimes like that, but that didn’t mean she had to like it. “Alright then, share with the class” Ariana piped up. “What are we wearing for the next show?” When Audra had first been hired, Ariana would look carefully at every outfit before the show. Since getting to know her stylist, however, she tended to just defer to Audra’s judgment. The other redhead hadn’t steered her wrong yet. Audra was talented, there was no denying that. The band had hired her for a reason. Ariana had grown to love Audra’s work with a passion, and so had the band’s fans. The musician shuffled on the couch and looked at her friend expectantly. Since there didn’t seem to be anything else to do, she might as well check out what the other girl was going to dress her in.
