the day looked nice and the coffee shop was the perfect place for kevin to attend for his first performing gig at a new town. it was difficult for him to leave his hometown of ireland, leaving his friends and family behind. it was his choice to make, wanting to achieve his dream of becoming a musician one day and that only way it could happen is if he goes on a plane and fly all the way over to america. the poor boy has been feeling homesick lately, but still managed to attend at gigs and show everyone what he got. arriving to the coffee shop and getting things set up, checking the sound and seeing if he has everything he needs. kevin walked up on stage, gently tapping on the microphone twice to make sure it's working properly. looking around the building, seeing everyone enjoying their coffee and chatting among their little groups. kevin closes his eyes for a moment, letting out a small sigh and began playing. opening his eyes, noticing thousands of eyes watching him while performing always made him feel little nervous. luckily, he remain calm. after performing a little song, kevin looks over at the crowd and notice them clapping which put a smile on the kid's face. hearing the audience clapping and cheering after a performance always cheer him up, letting him know that coming here to america wasn't such a bad idea after all. the young man turns around and put the guitar away in the case, getting off the stage and making his way over in line for a delicious coffee.
notes: sorry for this lame post. i'll get better soon. i promise!
