letter on monday.
From the outside Juliette (we're going to call her that because it's convenient, okay?) seems like the average college freshman. A psychology major at The University of Washington, one with a lot of pride in her school and seemingly integrates into the college system without a hitch. She's not a party girl, but she goes to them on occasion. She has decent grades. She's mild-mannered and hasn't broken a law outside of drinking underage. Average-seeming. Well, outside of the little fact that she's a music freak. A tumblr blog dedicated to her favorite artists, a twitter account that she uses strictly for having conversations with bands she's friends with and her dorm walls are tacked with ticket stubs, posters, signed lanyards, the whole nine yards. She'll wear band shirts to class and is probably what you'd consider to be somewhat obsessed. But other than that, she's a sweetheart and levelheaded and works as a barista at a local coffee shop when she isn't taking classes or going to concerts. And she likes all the bands on the particular record label that is housed in-town... Minus one. The Blackout Artist. She thinks the whole band is annoying and their music is too loud and obnoxious.
So during this gig that's happening for some charity or another, she's there so she can see the bands that she really likes. But it just so happens that The Blackout Artist is playing too. And even though she's pretty much front row, the whole time their set goes on, she's unamused. And she just stands there. And the bands primary goal is to make people dance like idiots, so there's that. And Jersey's just a little taken aback by the fact that she just stood there during the set. So after the show, when he's just walking out of the venue, he sees her and due to his incredible narrow-mindedness of "Everybody must at least tolerate our band" he goes up to her and asks why she wasn't dancing during their set. She'll tell him that she thinks they're obnoxious and over rated, and then the next day follows him on twitter and makes some obnoxious comment about how "awkward it is to have jersey reydner talk to you after a show even though you really kind of hate him". His bandmember shows him the tweet, and then the thing is, he really respects that. She can speak her mind and he didn't care at that point what it was about, he really just respected her. So he followed her back and basically every chance he got, tried to initiate conversation with her. Until she just gave up and is like "Fine. I will meet you for coffee" but uhm, yeah. We can plan further, but that's kind of the outline I have right now.
For the faceclaim, though, Debby Ryan is in the picture. But as long as they look like they're eighteen and kind of have what you'd consider a normal appearance, I'd be good with whoever. ^^ Take her, por favor. <3
